Wealth Management OS

The Wealth Management Operating System- When are we going to see this built?

I am waiting for the Wealth Management OS to be built. Something that manages everything from investments to budgeting, to taxes, to recommendations on trusts, wills, and more. With the explosion of AI, I think we will soon see this available.

Imagine a world where financial advisors have AI assistants. The advisor can focus on the relationship and unique opportunities for clients while the AI assistant learns from the advisor’s notes, calls, and in-person conversations (assuming there is a recording device or Alexa-like device listening).

This is one of the things that excites me about the opportunity in wealthtech and why we are spending time at Social Leverage looking at the space. I can imagine a world where not only I can see all of my investments in one view (stocks, bonds, vc funds, hedge funds, crypto, alternatives like collectibles, real estate, etc.), but also get recommendations on hedges, recommendations on tax savings ideas, recommendations on how to put some long term investments into trusts for my family, & recommendations on ways to diversify. This AI assistant for my advisor will be able to answer questions about my family’s spending, our budget, if we can afford a large purchase, read through private investment docs and suggest redlines, & everything in between.

If this future WealthOS is built, I believe we will be able to offer family office-like services and intelligence for a much larger audience.
