On top of SPACE X Day, it is also the first USA WorldCup game. I have had many people over the last few days ask me if I placed any predictions on Kalshi or $HOOD ( ▲ 1.04% ) for what $SPCX ( ▲ 19.22% ) ends at day 1, if the USA wins or gets out of the first round, and if the NY Knicks can win in 5. Makes me think, what did everyone do before prediction markets, at least in California where you can’t do sports gambling. I am still waiting to see prediction markets get scale in the institutional trading world around KPIs, economics, and things Wall Street cares about. Bring on the liquidity!
SpaceX has 20% with retail out the gate which is massive compared to normal. The indices will be backstopping SpaceX given Nasdaq is having them add $SPCX ( ▲ 19.22% ) in the first few weeks. I continue to believe the trillion dollar IPOs are ridiculous, but for Elon, it doesn’t seem crazy. You are betting on him changing the world, changing humanity, and building things nobody thinks is possible. The big question I have is, “When does he merge with $TSLA ( ▲ 1.82% )?!”
