Sourcing Candidates via MCP

We’re launching a limited beta of Ribbon MCP today. It’s a glimpse at what the next ATS interface looks like. I’m giving access to a small group of people who DM me first. We're planning a wider rollout in ~1 month. For a long time, the way to use an ATS was obvious. Log in.   Click through a bunch of tabs.   Set the right filters.   Hope the data you need is actually there. That workflow has always been kind of broken. Recruiters are trying to answer simple questions: Who applied this week?   Who’s in final rounds?   Which roles are stuck?   What offers are still outstanding? But getting those answers often means fighting the software. Workday is the clearest example. It’s painful. Ashby is much better. But even then, the better experience is starting to feel obvious: you shouldn’t have to navigate the system yourself at all. You should just be able to ask! That’s what Ribbon MCP does. It lets you use Ribbon + your ATS inside Claude or ChatGPT, so you can work with your pipeline in plain English. Not by digging. Not by clicking around. Not by turning every question into a reporting exercise. Just ask what you want to know. I think this is where recruiting software is going.
