10/14/2022 was the first day I met with Arsham Ghahramani, PhD & Dave Vu via a warm introduction. The idea was different than what Ribbon is today, but our team was intrigued.
I remember they were trying to close their funding round, and I said: "If you want to meet all of the Social Leverage team at one time, we are in Las Vegas in 48hrs." Without hesitation, they called me back and said they would meet us there, and on 10/24/2022 they flew in for 24hrs to meet the team. After spending hours with them till late that night, the team was convinced: these are the type of founders we want to back.
There were pivots, hard times raising capital, times when they faced adversity, but today I am excited to celebrate with them as the company has been acquired by Dayforce!
