What a week! Stocktoberfest & Social Leverage Palooza!
The last 4 days have been amazing at the Hotel Del on Coronado. Investors, LPs, Founders, the Stocktwits Stocktoberfest network. It was great seeing people fly in from all around the world, from the Cayman Islands to Amsterdam to NYC.
We talked about the Degenerate Economy, heard from Yoshi at Alpaca.Markets on the future of global brokerage, tokenization, and the growth of investing. We learned from Michael Parekh about all things AI, Humanoids with Chris Camillo, crypto from some of the best fund managers, including 6th Man Ventures and Hootie from Hash3. We saw RallyRd sell out their latest dinosaur bones listing, learned from Paul about tariffs and how they affect Manscaped.
Founders such as Getlea.io and SyntheticFi discussed the latest technology and products in wealth management. SlashExperts showed everyone how to sell and build a verified expert network. Newcase.ai talked about the latest in legal tech for the insurance industry, and Tabflows.ai opened our eyes to how physicians & clinicians can become more efficient by leveraging AI.
With 300+ people in attendance over the last couple of days, it was a special event in the newly remodeled Hotel Del on the beach of Coronado. We had founders and investors networking, deals being closed, business partnerships being struck, and everyone learning. We had new portfolio companies meeting founders that have recently exited. US companies networking with our Canadian portfolio company founders, and everyone enjoying the drinks on the deck.
