It’s been a few weeks. But back in NYC for multiple events this week.

Most of the Social Leverage team is in NYC for the first half of this week as we attend the Stocktwits Cashtag Awards. For Social Leverage LPs, we are hosting events on Monday and Tuesday night as well. I always look forward to these NYC trips where we get to see the founders of the companies we are invested in and catch up with our LPs that are based in the NYC area. One of the great things we do at Social Leverage is host events that bring our LPs, founders, and broader network together. These small, more intimate events are a great way to network, catch up with long-time friends, and are such a valuable part of the Social Leverage community.

My calendar, like most trips these days, is packed, but also trying to leave some flexibility as I inevitably will run into old friends or will meet a founder of a new company that we really want to spend some time with.

Having left NYC 3 years ago for San Diego, I couldn’t be happier. I also feel like I am much more efficient when I do come back into the city for a few days. From doing multiple dinners in a night, to marathon meetings during the day, to drinks after dinner, the days are long, but the energy is high.
