The Next Bloomberg Analytics Desk

HELP HELP. Press these buttons on your Bloomberg keyboard and access an army of analytics professionals. This is a level of customer support that in my opinion is unmatched. Who is building a modern AI-enabled Analytics Desk?
For those who know me, they know I started my career at Bloomberg, and working on the Analytics desk answering questions about the market and the Bloomberg terminal for close to 5 years is how I got my markets education. Equity derivatives, charting, structured notes, how to send an email on the Bloomberg terminal, how do I update my profile, how can I import Bloomberg data into Excel and build a real-time updating watchlist, how do I screen for US companies with a PE greater than 15 in the healthcare sector as defined by GICS that has a MACD greater than 70, etc. etc. etc. Those were just a sample of the topics you would get at rapid fire.
I constantly think of the time I spent at Bloomberg and lately have been wondering why we haven’t seen a Bloomberg disruptive product that incorporates the Analytics Desk or HELP HELP. The premium that users pay for the HELP HELP capabilities and ability to talk to not only product experts but also market experts is clear. I imagine with the advancements in AI, the ability to build a lean, expert analytics team, that can be supportive of a Bloomberg competitor is on the horizon.
The AI-driven Bloomberg competitors are starting to be built and are slowly popping up. In the future, we will see Bloomberg Analytics desk-like offerings where premium users can access expert-level analytics/markets professionals who are skilled in prompting AI and leveraging the AI Agents to do tasks related to financial markets research. The question will be what will we all do with all this excess free time?
