Money2020- Everyone goes but nobody goes

Vegas and Amsterdam. Could you have better locations? I would argue you could do without Vegas, but Amsterdam is fantastic. The funny thing about Money2020 is everyone attends, but does everyone buy a ticket?
There are more events around Money2020 and more people in attendance during the conference than I think buying tickets. Dinners, happy hours, brunches, private meeting rooms, the list goes on. I know more people flying in from around the world for Money2020 who have no plans to attend the conference than I could ever imagine.
The conference and the vendor hall though are valuable. Especially for B2B sales. For startups looking to showcase their offering. But for everyone else, it’s hard to justify. Maybe there isn’t enough content to pull people in or maybe there is just too many networking events around the main event. I don’t know what would force me to buy a ticket, but I do know it’s easy to fill your schedule without officially attending.
As I did last year, I plan to make my way to Las Vegas in the coming weeks for Money2020. No ticket for the conference as of now, but a jam-packed schedule. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
