Larry David is the latest comedian to join Punchup.live
When Social Leverage invested in Punchup.live, the founders had a goal of changing the way live performers go on tour, plan their shows, know who their fans are, etc. etc. etc. I wrote about Punchup previously in a post called Data Driven Comedy.
The plan was always to start with comedy and expand from there to musicians, podcasters, and more. Not only have they executed so far, but they have taken over the comedy space! If you like watching and seeing comedy, and you enjoy laughing, then you have to check out Punchup live. This is where comedians are moving to in order to make sure their fans know where they will be touring and when. They are also sharing exclusive content on the site without having to worry about getting banned or kicked off the platform like other platforms i.e. Instagram, YouTube, etc.
The team at Punchup.live has raised a seed round and has already accomplished more in a short time frame than most. Every comedian is talking about their Punchup page and reminding their fans to sign up. A lot of exciting things coming from Punchup going into 2025 and I couldn’t be more excited for them.
