Crowdsourcing…. Prediction alpha

Prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket are everywhere. I see ads on Instagram, YouTube, and all over the internet.

With the boom of prediction markets, do we see a resurgence of popularity in crowdsourced data platforms? Estimize was a company started a long time ago for earnings estimates that is sourced from anyone who wants to share their forecasts. They even launched a platform called Mergerize at one point so that you could predict M&A. I would love to see crowdsourced ideas on who will acquire whom. Public and Private. Think about putting out a 2026 prediction Yes/No $FDS ( ▲ 0.63% ) is acquired. Or get even more risky and predict if $MSCI ( ▼ 0.1% ) will acquire $FDS ( ▲ 0.63% ). Or how about will $FDS ( ▲ 0.63% ) be taken private by PE?

Stocktwits is another great platform where people talk about stocks and crypto all day. They invented the cashtag $$$. What if the predictions on stock prices were something you could execute on via Polymarket or Kalshi? Have a wallet that easily connects, and then boom, you are predicting with real money all day.

The opportunities for prediction markets to integrate into the internet and all different types of apps are endless. StockX is even selling data at this point for predictions on sneaker secondary sales

Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.

Read our guide to find out why growth marketers should make sure CTV is part of their 2026 media mix.
