Everyone is asking for MCP. The UI is going away!
Everyday I talk to investors, hedge fund analysts, data vendors & providers, founders and LPs- the constant discussion is “Do they have an MCP?”
The news hit even harder this week when Anthropic announced their finance agents and $FDS ( ▼ 2.21% ) took a 5% alongside $SPGI ( ▲ 0.13% ). The exciting part for Social Leverage, is Fiscal.ai was named as one of the new connectors by Anthropic for Claude Code and Cowork!
The financial industry, where we invest heavily at Social Leverage, along side many other industries are being reimagined with AI. If you have read my posts, we are going very AI and Agentic first at Social Leverage for all of our operations, and I think the grunt work, operational work, and diligence process of many firms is being augmented heavily by all of this AI innovation.
The takeway for me - the UI is going away. Or better said- everyone will have their own custom UI or my colleague Evan calls it our own personal pane of glass. The other thing that is clear to me is there will be many new winners in the pipes and in the data. We have two big bets in those areas with Alpaca.Markets in the pipes and Fiscal.ai in the data.
