Every pitch deck has AI at this point. At least it feels like it does. Every large company has a focus on AI. An AI committee. A head of AI or team focused on implementing AI. At this point, we are all using AI just like we use the cloud. Its table stakes to be integrating it into your software and process. Now don’t get me wrong, some are doing it a lot better than others. Very few are building new LLMs or real AI. Most of us, most companies, are just integrating the models into their offering, leveraging their data or web scraping everything they can to make their implementation of AI even better.

AI hype was like crypto hype and the hype of everything before that. Its still a hot sector. It still promises to change everything. Change our jobs. Take some of our jobs. Make us smarter, more efficient, give us more time back in our day to be creative and interact in person.

I use my AI notetaker from the Affinity CRM everyday for our calls. I have to say, its awesome. Even if I don’t make a meeting I still get a great summary of the call via email, the full transcript and its tagged to everyone who attended in our CRM. Its a game changer. I listen more now and type less. I can miss a meeting and know what I missed before my team can tell me. It really is a whole new way of taking Zooms.

Some times I think maybe I should just send my AI notetaker to webinars and demos, have it take a transcript, record a video (it can’t do this…yet…) and I just consume summaries. Summarization is one of the things that’s so powerful.

I use Superhuman as well for email and the summarization of emails is great. Miss 10+ emails in a thread…BOOM- read the thread.

AI is being integrated everywhere and as Apple integrates it into the phone, we will see a whole change in how we live as they push this out to their 2 billion devices. Michael Parekh talks about the AI device rollout and how Siri will have a whole new way of interacting. I can only imagine how many “Hey Siri” we will hear once AI integrations roll out.

I am excited for AI to be everywhere. More time back to do things that matter!
