I am a believer that there will be winners in the ChatGPT for X. I think that there will be application layer AI use cases that will leverage proprietary data or have a unique sales/distribution model or will focus on a specific niche that will allow them to be the winner or one of many winners. The large incumbents want to have 95% accuracy before they release anything. They want to make sure they know all the risks, are using the right LLM’s, so on and so on. So there is an opportunity for the startups to win and the first mover advantage.

• ChatGPT for Gambling/Fantasy Sports - asking questions about my fantasy football lineup or placing parlay bets on NFL games happening this weekend.

• ChatGPT for Finance- ask questions about the markets, fundamentals, company transcripts, guidance, etc.

• ChatGPT for MyLife- a personal assistant around all things in my life. My kid’s schedules, my work schedule, my upcoming work and family trips, booking a handyman, or reminders for work to be done on the home. AI that knows everything about me, my needs, and more.

There are tons more use cases and the ones that are focused on a specific problem or a niche vertical, I think will be the quick winners. The large public companies will be leveraging AI just like they leverage cloud technology, but it will take time.
