AI is and will change the way we live our daily lives. Working smarter not harder
The amount of time we are getting back, the efficiencies we are gaining, and the changes happening around us are happening at lightning speed. I have seen some people worry about AI taking over or taking jobs or making it harder to get jobs; I think the opposite. We must adapt, but the amount of time we are all going to get back is amazing. The younger generation is embracing these new AI tools and is changing the way and speed at which we get things done. The way kids study for exams or make note cards- changing with AI which can now take pictures of pages of a book, create note cards, create quizzes, and help you prepare for exams. The way we build PowerPoint presentations, write essays, learn new skills - the list goes on.
Two of our Social Leverage portfolio companies are a great example of leaning into AI. The first is Ribbon.ai. They are creating AI voice agents so that you can do phone screening at scale. Allow everyone to go through a phone screen anytime 24hrs a day in multiple languages. Capture transcripts, videos, data, summaries, and scores. I would spend weeks doing phone screening for open roles in my past jobs and would interview dozens just to find a fit. With Ribbon.ai I could have listened to these phone screens on my airpods on the subway rides home, allowed more candidates to phone screen, and had more insights and data for my team to review before deciding which candidates to go deeper with. This is a game changer for hiring. Think about the banks or large companies hiring interns. Why do we screen based on a CV? Why not allow everyone an opportunity to get a phone interview? Ribbon.ai is making this all possible and more.
My second favorite AI use case is our portfolio company Finchat.io. This is the AI analyst I always wanted at a hedge fund. For anyone doing investment research, their AI copilot is the best in the business. They have relationships with the top data sources, they have built their own KPI and segment data, and their platform has some of the best screening tools, charting, and modeling capabilities. I love having the AI copilot up on my desktop all day. As I am doing research or trying to get up to speed on a new company, I simply chat with the copilot and it gives me everything instantly. I worked at Bloomberg and used Bloomberg for 15 years, but I can say, I can’t live without Finchat.io. Bloomberg news and IB chat are great, but the AI copilot from Finchat makes me so much more efficient.
AI is going to give us all super powers and is exciting to see the new releases, tools, and use cases every day. Lean in. Play with these tools. Incorporate them into your process, and reach out if you want to meet the founders of Ribbon or Finchat!

This smart home company grew 200% month-over-month…
No, it’s not Ring or Nest—it’s RYSE, a leader in smart shade automation, and you can invest for just $1.75 per share.
RYSE’s innovative SmartShades have already transformed how people control their window coverings, bringing automation to homes without the need for expensive replacements. With 10 fully granted patents and a game-changing Amazon court judgment protecting their tech, RYSE is building a moat in a market projected to grow 23% annually.
This year alone, RYSE has seen revenue grow by 200% month-over-month and expanded into 127 Best Buy locations, with international markets on the horizon. Plus, with partnerships with major retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s already in the works, they’re just getting started.
Now is your chance to invest in the company disrupting home automation—before they hit their next phase of explosive growth. But don’t wait; this opportunity won’t last long.
