AI Sales Reps - It's Coming.......

When I think of buying from an AI sales rep, this isn’t to replace my account manager or relationship with the company. This is more of a way for me to increase my spending. Think of it as the upsell, the land and expand, but automated with AI. If I am a client, let’s say of a data company, that offers dozens of data products or a lake full of data, why do I have to talk to my sales rep? I’d love to hop into a chat, a Sales Co-pilot, and ask some questions like “Do you have any data on the number of cars sold in the US last year?” “Do you offer data on the average sales price of a luxury SUV in the US over the last 5 years?" If the AI Co-Pilot came back with a simple “Yes we have that data, would you like to see a free sample?” My simple answer is YES!

This process saved me time searching the companies website, shooting off an email or making a phone call.

Whats next? Let me buy instantly in the chat! Maybe I have a pre-approved budget of $10k annually to spend on data. Just click Accept and BOOM. Data in my Snowflake or delivered to me in Databricks or whatever delivery method I so choose. This is where data buying is going and where sales is going.
