3 win companies. I heard this from Evan Rapoport recently and it has really stuck with me. Win Win Win
What is a 3-Win Company- The company wins. The partner wins (any company that partners or integrates). The customer wins. When everyone wins and everyone gets value, it’s a triple winner. I was on a call recently with the founder of SmartX, Evan Rapoport, and he said, “I love this company. How can you not love it? It’s a 3-win company.” In this example, the startup delivers money to customers instantly. If partners integrate the API, the customers still get money instantly, but the partner also gets some revenue or provides a service that is a value as well. Everyone wins.
11th Estate and their enterprise offering is a 3 Win Company example.
I thought about companies I have met with recently, companies who have pitched us, and it’s rare to meet 3 win companies. They exist, they can be massively successful, but not everyone is delivering wins across the board.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out 11th Estate, it’s worth spending some time. See if you have some unclaimed cash by simply connecting your brokerage accounts. Every time I see news that talks about class action settlements & lawsuits against public companies, I wonder if I own those stocks in my portfolio. I found it interesting to learn that, on average, the 11th Estate is seeing connected portfolios with over $900 in settlements. That’s a nice chunk of cash for little to no effort.
